(קַמְצִיץ) קַמְצוּץ m. f. (קָמַץ) compressed condition, bent up, doubled. Y.Naz.IX, 57d אם מצאו ק׳וכ׳ if one finds a corpse, in the ground, doubled, we say, debris fell upon him, opp. פשוט. Ib. (read:) סברין מימר ראשיהם בצד מרגלותיהם זהו ק׳ they thought ‘their head beside their feet (of corpses found in the ground) meant ḳamtsuts (that each bodys head was lying by its feet). Sh.V.beg. 55d מת ק׳ היה נתוןוכ׳ (not קמצון) a doubled (mangled) body is under it (i. e. a mangled body was found there, and a mark was put over it); Y.Sot.IX, 23c top קמציץ.
